A Stray Spark from the Tinder Box

The mighty Davy caught a spark
As he sat studying in the dark,
He shut it up in vacuo,
As learned chemists us’d to do,
Then having labour’d with strange pains
And analiz’d his very brains,
He did declare that common flame
And this, were nearly quite, the same.
